Ho said; “England and the United States have assured us that they would treat us like Englishmen or Americans. Wo cannot enter tho Entente zolverein, for wo must remain free and independent. I hope England will retain her freetrade policy, and hope and believe wo shall remain neutral, but I do not like neutrality forced upon us by the Powers.
