TRIBUTE FROM MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS.

Their Excellencies, the GovernorGeneral and the Countess of Liverpool have granted their patronago'to the Red Triangle Day appeal for Y.H.C.A. warwork funds, a communication to this effect having been received by the National Executive of the Y.M.C.A. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon. O. W Bussell) has sent the following letter to Mr. H. W. Kersley, chairman of the National Committee of tho Y M.C.A., New Zealand: —“I have very much pleasure in heartily supporting the Red Triangle Day. Tho association has, by steady, reliable work, secured for itself the.confidence of the people of New Zealand, and I am satisfied that it will only be necessary to announce that this further effort is to bo made to ensure a munificent response from our people. The association has my fullest .approval and support in carrying out the proposal.—Yours faithfully, (sgd.) G. W Bussell, Minister for Internal Affairs.”
