Mr. Bates’ forecast for the twentyfour hours from 9 a.m. to-day is as follows: The indications are for easterly moderate to strong and backing byeast to north. Expect warm and humid conditions with incieasing haze and cloudiness. The barometer has a falling tendency, seas moderate, tides poor.
