Krylenko strongly condemns the act of lynch law practised upon Dukhonin and adds: "Popular hatred surpassed the limits of reason and despite all efforts to save Dukhonin he was thrown out of a. railway train at Mohileff station and killed. Korniloff's flight on the preceding day caused this excess. Krylenko urges his comrades to be Worthy of the freedom they have secured and not to stain the peoples' authority. The revolutionary people, he says, are fearful in the struggle, but must be soft after victory. The straggle for peace receives a new \ strength by the fall of the headquarters.
