END OF THE CAMPAIGN. COUNTRY NOW IN OUR HANDS. LONDON, Doc. 4. East Africa official: General Van der Venter on December 1 reported a reconnaissanco which definitely shows that German East Africa is completely cleared of the enemy, thus the whole of the last German Overseas possession has passed into our hands and those of the Belgians. Small German regiments have taken refuge in Portuguese territory. and measures have been taken to deal therewith. The captures for November wore 11 15 Gormans and 3382 native fighters. We captured or the enemy destroyed, 6 guns, 73 machine-guns and several thousands of rides.
