PETITION IN DIVORCE.

DECREE NISI GRANTED. The petition of Annie Hunter for a dissolution of her marriage with James Hunter, formerly an hotel manager at Marton, was heard before the Chief Justice, Sir Robert Stout, at the Supremo Court, Auckland, last week. The petitioner said that the marriage took place in Slay, 1902, at Auckland, and there were three children, one of whom had since died. They had lived at New Plymouth and Marxon, and in the latter town the respondeat took up the business of an hotelkeeper. In lull, petitioner left her husband and came to Auckland, where she expected him to join her later when'ho had disposed of the hotel. The husband came to Auckland in 1912, but only stayed four days and then went away to Melbourne, whore he reverted tp his trade as a hairdresser. The petitioner in Now Zealand had had several letters and small sums of money from him, but the last letter was dated August, 1912, and since that time she had heard nothing further of the respondent. She had been compelled to support herself and the children. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months.
