“UNPROTECTED” FINISHES TO-NIGHT. • ■ Another large audience showed keen approval of the excellent programme provided by the management of the People’s Theatre last evening. The principal attraction is a charming Famous Players-Lasky production entitled “Unprotected,” in which the leading part is capably portrayed by the brilliant actress Blanche Sweet. Amidst scenery of unusual grandeur tlie story unfolds the adventures of a girl who is wrongfully committed to prison for murder. The many startling dramatic scenes through which she passes lead up to a thrilling climax, and throughout the film many strong contrasts are presented. This picture, in conjunction with a strong supporting programme, will be screened finally to-night, Tlie leading picture in to-morrow’s ehange of programme will feature Mae Murray. Tlie picture is entitled “On Record,” and is an interesting story, mainly about aeroplanes. Supporting the star film are the Paramount Travel Series No. 5, and a. fine Victor Moore Comedy, “He Got There After All,” besides other interesting items.
