Wool.—At the sales there was a large attendance, and a good selection of greasy crossbreds produced keen bidding, yesterday’s advance being fully maintained, with nrices sometimes in the seller’s favour. There was a fair offering of merinos, prices being firm. Okarc, top price 17|d, average 17J-d; Kapntone, top 35d, average 50id. Tallow—94B casks were offered, and 73 sold. Mutton and beef, fine 49s per cwt, medium 45s per cwt. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. (Received September S, 8 a.in.) SYDNEY, Sept. 8. (Received Sept. 8, 10.35 a.m.) BRISBANE, Sept. 8. At the wool sales, good greasy and medium were very faulty and irregular; good scoured were 5 per cent, lower.
