PROFESSOR NORWOOD.

The second entertainment of the Norwood season was given on Thursday evening, and the new programme caused quite as much enjoyment as that of the first evening. As anticipated, the i number who volunteered to form the ! class increased considerably, ton going ■ up as compared with live on tho previous occasion. Among’the numerous items the Spanish waltz and the scone where a silver cloud was supposed to burst were especially amusing, and the ! way in which one man, after filling his lowii coat and pockets, steathily annexed the coats which his companions had filled, proved an interesting study. Another item, in which oik man while in a cataleptic trance supported four others on his body, caused people to marvel.

Among the new items which nnvpromised, “The .Minstrel Show” to-night ought to bo especially interesting.
