THE REPATRIATION FUND. (Received September 8, 10.35 a.m.) PERTH, "opt. 8. The Premier announced that tho State portion of tho Repatriation Fund would be made by taxing amusements. A SLUMP IN RECRUITING. MELBOURNE, Sept. 7. Enlistments during tho first five days of the month from all States total 1460, nearly 4000 short of the proportion, of 33,000 required.
