Fire practically destroyed the Dupont powder factory, Virginia, Tho town of Hopewell, erected for the purpose of accommodating workers in the Allies’ munitions and powder plant, was not reached, but it is believed tho firo was another pro-Gcnnan outrage. Riots occurred necessitating militia to suppress thefii.
