(Received Sept. 6, 8.0 a.m.) PARIS, Sept. 5. he Matin states that it is unknown at present what military steps Italy will take against Turkey, but it is supposed plans are being elaborated. THE POPE AND PEACE. WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. The High Commissioner reports that a message from Rome states that the Pope has telegraphed to the Kaiser appealing for peace.
