ENEMY SUBJECTS.
COMMISSION AT NEW PLYMOUTH. The Commission ■ appointed by_ the Government to inquire into the position of enemy subjects in the Dominion commenced its first sitting at the New Plymouth Courthouse this morning. The members of the Commission are Mr. A. D. Thomson (Public Service Commissioner),. chairman, Mr. Georgs Elliot (Auckland), and Mr. John Roberts, C.M.G. (Dunedin). Hie proceedings are being held in camera.
