Mr. Huteheu said that as tluro had been a good d*u! of inoiiirv lately by the public in eonnection with various school matteis, he considered they were entitled in know what was happening. especially as Mr. Okev had said be had no objection to the publication of what he had to say, Mr, Ewing took a similar view, but suggested that the inciting should be held in committee, and if advisable, a report he handed afterwards to the pro>s. Mr. Webster concurred, and this course was adopted, the press representatives then withdrawing. The board sj,t for about an hour, and "cporied that there was no information to be made public.
