PARISHIONER'S ANNUAL MEETING. The* un nun I meeting of parishioners of limy Trinity Clmrcli, Te Henni, was held in the Sunday Schoolroom on Wednesday night, Lwonty-two parishioners being present. The Rev. H. A. Pavell presided, and the Vicar of St. Alary’s, the Rev, A. 11. Colvile, and Mr. .1. P.aton attended as representatives of St. Mary’s Church. ANNUAL REPORT. In the annual report, (treat regret was expressed that the services oi a priest-in-eharge had not been available during the greater part of the year. Archdeacon Evans was thanked for assisting the church in its difficulty, and the Rev, fl. A. Pavell paid a tribute to the good wink he had done since Christmas. The committee had decided to re-nprn the question of separation from St. Mary's Parish, and form a separate parochial district. The bal-ance-sheet showed a credit balance of ■CIR Ids lid, as compared with a d'eficicnev of i‘24 2s the previous vear. Thanks were expressed to all those who had helped the church, particularly the ladies. * The report ami balance-sheet were adopted. ELECTION OK OFFICERS. Following aic the office-bearers for the ensuing your: —Vicar's warden, Mr. Area; people’s warden, Mr. 11. ,1. dnhnson; committee. Messrs. W. O’Callaghan, 0. O. drover, W, (bitfield. M. .1. Arm .trong. A. 11. Steeds. 11. Grayling, R. .Smith, and Ingley. jun.; lion, auditor, Mr. ('. F. Foote. A SEPARATE PARISH. After some discussion, it was unanimously resolved '•That this meeting of parishioners of Te Henni approves of and accepts the proposals made by the parishioners of St. Mari’s with a view to the forma lion of a separate parochial district of Te Henni and Hell Block, and rH-oiimiciuis that the Auckland Diocesan Synod should ho asked at the next session to amend the present boundaries ol St. Mary's Parish, and to establish a new parochial district ol Te Jlenui and Hell Block.”
It was also resolved: —“That this meeting desires to place on record us appreciation of the kindly and considerate spirit shown by the parishioners and vestry of St. Mary's Parish, and to express thankfulness for the generous financial assistance guaranteed in the event of a separate parochial district for To llenni and Hell Illock being COUsUtutod.”
