PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN OF £6OOO, PROPOSAL TO RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN UNDER “THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT,' 1913.” THE NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL .hereby gives public notice Hint it proposes to borroiv, by way of special loan, the sum of £6OOO, at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 per centum per annum with a sinking fund of one-half per centum additional, the whole of the loan to .be repayable on the Ist day of April, 1933. The particular purpose for which the loan is required is;— To acquire or provide lands, easements. rights and appurtenances, and to construct- and .erect thereon a building, or buildings, for Municipal Offices, and for accommodation of . a Museum, and to provide for the furniture and equipment of such building, or buildings, and any other purpose identical or in relation thereto. The Council proposes to pledge as security for the said Joan of £6009 and the interest and sinking fund thereon, an annually recurring rate of Id in the £ on tho annual value of all rateable , property in the Borough. The Council proposes to pay nut of the loan the cost of raising the loon and the first year's interest and sinking fund thereon. Dated the 24th day of April, 1915. J. E.
