A communique states that the hostile artillery attacks south of Ypr.s failed under our fire, with heavy losses. We evacuated Lizcrnc after the enemy’s artillery had completely destioyed the houses. Wc maintain the tote-dc-pont (hridge-head) eastward of Lizerne on the left bank of the canal. A FOUR YEARS’ WAR. (Received April 28. 2.10 p.m.) COPENHAGEN. April 27. Herr Gottschalh, a Gorman State Counci'io.-. states that Herr von Bo.tli-raann-Holhvcg has ordered the various States to buy four years’ food stuffs. Ho declared that Germany must be prepared for that period. Herr Gottschalk is visiting Sweden and Norway to organise purchases.
