PALMERSTON SHOW.

We are reqested to draw tho attention of our readers to the fact that entries for live stock, including dogs, close on Saturday next, the 17th inst., after which late foe entries will ho taken up to tho 24th inst. It is to be hoped that the Taranaki breeders will come to light well and sond their entries along so as to make up enough for the special stock train which is scheduled to run. This, the first opportunity should bo taken advantage of by all, so that tho train will be a fixture in future years. Tho schedule is ft most comprehensive one. and covers classes for all divisions of stock, and the prize-money is generous. The cups and trophies are too numerous to mention, but wo can assure intending exhibitors that they will get a good run for their money. ’ The secretary is Mr. W. T. Penny, Box 85, Palmerston North.
