A VETERANS’ REUNION. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. HAMILTON, July IS. The veterans of tho old Fourth AVaikato Regiment and tlio Hamilton Borough Council have set up a committee to make arrangements to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of tho arrival of the regiment at Hamilton on August 2-1, 1864. It is proposed to ask tho Government to grant free railway transit to veterans and their wives, while tho council will banquet the survivors and their direct descendants, and also proposes to erect a. monument to commemorate tho occasion.
