On Friday next, the 10th inst., the

New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., in conjunction with Mr. Newton King, will hold an unreserved sale of high-date dairy stock on account of Mr. K. J. Linn, at‘•Mountain View,” Normanby. Mr. Linn is well known throughout the. Dominion as a breeder and owner of select dairy cattle, and is perhaps hotter known as a judge of dairy stock, having acted in that capacity at various A. and P. shows throughout New Zealand. The whole of his grade cows will bo disposed of, as Air, Linn has decided to retain only his well-known herd of pedigree Jerseys. _ It is claimed that his grade herd is one of the best in the Dominion. The cows are in the pink of condition, calving early, and are in calf to pedigree Jersey bulls. Those requiring high-class stock of exceptional quality sli ould not miss this sale. Full particulars will be found in our advertising columns; and catalogues can ho had on application to the auctioneers. Mr. Linn’s herd of pedigree Jerseys will bo on exhibition on dav of sale, and lovers of the breed, will have an opportunity of inspecting them.

During this week at the Alelbourne’a midwinter sale an exceptionally fine lot of men’s and boys’ smart readj-to-wear suits and overcoats will be sacrificed. They comprise mostly ends of lines and oddments, and iri some cases the prices are cut to about one-half. All requiring a good suit or a nice warm overcoatwill bo well repaid if they call at anj of the Alelbourue’s five stores before th< sale closes on Saturday nest.*-
