A very successful dance was Riven at Hillsborough on Tuesday in aid of tho "Country Girl’s” candidature, Miss Hilda Bishop. Miss Glory Harrison, tho band s candidate, is reported to bo gaining many votes as tho result of tho energetic efforts of her committee. The Friendly Societies aro working hard in their "determination to put up a good fight on behalf ot their candidate, Mias Elsio Bennett. They aro confident that their candidate will be in a handy position when tho final count takes place. Tho East Knd troupo of funnily dressed individuals again paraded in town on Tuesday night prepared for concert work, and they report good business on behalf of their candidate, Mias Madge Henrichs. Tho Uoyal Pierrots will visit Inglewood on Monday evening next and give a concert in .supjKirt or tho candidature of Miss Yota Gilbert.
