AVilb regard to last season’s teams, they had not been altogether .satisfactory. ’ The senior and first junior teams fell awav towards the end of the season, and both had had difficulty in keeping their fixtures. The second juniors, however, bail stuck together, and had succeeded in carrying off the third grade championship. The club had now, at various times, succeeded in carrying off tho championships in all throe grades, and ho hoped to see them repeat the performance. Tho balance sheet was adopted.

A letter was received from Mr. J. D. Crowley, announcing his retirement as a playing member, as ho considered he had had his day, and that it was time he made room for a younger player. He had stuck to them through thick and thin, and had gone through seasons without winning a match. Mr. Crowley had never played for any other club. The Okaiawa Club had never had a patron, and he thought it would bo a graceful act to elect Mr. Crowley to that position. All present concurred, and Mr. Crowley was unanimously elected the club’s first patron. The election of the other officers was then proceeded with, and resulted as follows: —President, Mr. A. Lees; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Groves, W. Betts, L. Walsdorf, E. J. Betts, T. M. Robertson, N. Crocker, J. H. Sellers, J. Bailey, W. Williams, IV. W. Forsyth, . J. E, Knudson, C.
