STATE TREASURER’S SUICIDE. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH COPYRIGHT. (Received Feb. 17, 12.55 p.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 16. Arising out of the Sulsser graft inquiry proceedings John Kennedy, State Treasurer, committed suicide with a razor when summoned to give evidence. The investigating Attorney declared it was obvious that Kennedy had been driven insane by worry over the impending inquiry.
