It is officially announced tiiat Saturday’s meeting gives ground for expecting that a settlement will bo arrived at satisfactory to both Bulgaria and Turkey. Sofia newspapers are equally optimistic. Se-rvia and Bulgaria aro stated to have initiated a tariff war by applying for tho maximum tariffs. M. DANEFF IN TROUBLE. BELGRADE, September 13. It is reported that Isl. Daucff has been either arrested in his own house for treachery to tho .State, or is being guarded to protect him from tho anger of disbanded soldiers believing that he was responsible for Bulgaria’s present troubles.
