SELECTING A PATENT AGENT.

It is very important that specifications and drawings should be prepared by competent persons, as the validity of the patent often depends on them. No patent agent is competent unless he is a practical mechanical draftsman, has scientific education, and is skilled in patent law. Messrs. Baldwin and Hayward, patent agents, whose local representative is Mr. Walter Bowley, sharebroker, Egmont Street, have these qualifications, and are thoroughly trustworthy. ■
