FIRES IN AUSTRALIA.
FACTORY AND SHOPS BURNED,

M‘Don aid’s hoot factory at Chippendale, with a heavy stock and much valuable machinery, has been destroyed by fire. Tho damage is heavy. Three shops at Gundagai have also been gutted. The Premier and party, who were visiting tho town, rendered valuable assistance in checking the flames.
