FIRES.
LARGE HOUSE DESTROYED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 1. A thirfcecn-roomecl house in Dufferin Street was badly damaged by fire tonight. It was owned and occupied by Mr. Allan M'Guire, and was insured for £I3OO in the Victoria Office, and the contents for £IOOO in tbo New Zealand office. Tho fire was caused by a spark igniting a settee.
