THE NEW ZEALAND.

During her cruise the total number of people who have actually boarded the New Zealand to date, has boon well over 500,000. The official tally taken on board the New Zealand gives the actual number of visitors counted in Dominion ports as 378,068, but this number is probably below the mark. It would have been far greater, had it not been for the bad weather and heavy seas at most of the roadstead ports visited, making it impossible for people to get on hoard the ship. Not counting those who boarded the ship at St. Vincent, Ascension and St. Helena, probably, about 500 in all, the official list gives the following figures;— , .
