The funeral of the late Mrs. Joseph West took place at Te Henni Cemetery on Sunday afternoon, and was largely attended by friends of the deceased lady from, all parts of the district. A particularly large number of wreaths and floral emblems, including wreaths from the New Plymouth Master Bakers’ Association and Hatrick and Co.’s Waitara warehouse, bore evidence of the high esteem in which the late lady was held. The service at the graveside was conducted'by the Rev. J, W. Burton.
