DISESTABLISHMENT.

THE WELSH BILL 1 . APPEAL TO THE DEAD PAST, By Electric Telegraph.—igopyright. (Received June 30, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, June 29. Lord Selbomo, addressing 50,000 demonstrators against Welsh ’disestablishment, at Swansea, said that under the Act of Union between Wales, England and Scotland, two fundamental articles enacted that there should be no disturbance of the Church of Scotland or the Church of England and Wales. The Scottish members’ action over the Welsh Bill was an absolute breach of those articles, and was not an action that history would judge as honourable. The BUI might temporarily pass under the Parliament Act, but churchmen would never submit until the question was fairly and squarely submitted to the electors of Wales and England. ■
