Poincare preceded the State ball, at Which 2500 guests were present. MM. Poincare and Pichon (French Minister for Foreign Affairs) had a i-jng; conference with Sir Edward Grey and Sir Walter Nicholson (Government Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs) cad discussed the Balkans and practically all matters of mutual interest.
