NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. At Waiwakaiho on Thursday a medal round in tho Thursday Cup' competition was played, when there was a fair number of competitors. The weather conditions were perfect, while the links were in splendid order. The following were the best five scores handed in:— S. J. Smith, 97—14—83. F. J. Honan, 111—2 G—Bs. J. R. Sinclair, 112—27—85. W. P. Nicoll, 100-14-86. J. Austin, 111-24-87. TARAHUA CLUB. A mixed foursomes match, medal play, took place at the Tarahua links on Thursday aternoon. Tho course and greens were in excellent condition, while there was a very fair entry for the match. The best throe scores handed in were:— Miss Free and N. Perry, 90 —24 —66. Miss Stoddart and W. Wood, 85—16 —69. Miss Somervell and R. Cunningham, 83—13—70. Following is tho draw for tho ladies’ handicap match, to be played at Tarahua to-morrow afternoon .-—Miss West v. Miss Treeby, Miss Hammond v. Miss Gilbert, Miss Somervell v. Miss Pellew, Miss Wattcrson v. Miss Warren, Mrs. Simcock v. Mrs. Neal.
