WAITARA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) •Tuno 25.—Tho fifth of the series of Druids’. euchre parties was held in the Clifton Hail, on Tuesday evening, but owing to other attractions tho attendance was not so largo compared with other nights. Seventeen tables were occupied. The prize-winners were as follows;—Ladies: Ist, Miss Bracegirdle, manicure set; 2nd, Mrs. La Pouplo, E.P. jam dish; 3rd, Mrs. Taylor, E.R, pickle jar. Men: Ist, Mr. G. Langdon, silver-mounted walking-stick; 2nd, Mr. Side!-, ash tra.y; 3rd, Mr. H. Longman, walking-stick. After supper, dancing was commenced, about 40 couples participating. Tho music was supplied by Miss Carr, with extras by Air. Feek. Mr. A. Limmer acted as M.O.
