Bates’ forecast for the twenty-four hfmrs from 9 a.m. today is as follows: i The indications are for variable and. strong breezes, but southerly winds prevailing; the weather will probably prove squally with heavy showers; ‘thenights will probably be very cold, with frosts inland; the barometer has a rising tendency; tides good, 'sea considerable. •
