CITIZENS’ BALL. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 2. The Citizens’ Ball held in tbo Town Hall last night, in honour of tho officers.of the New Zealand, was attended by fully 1000 people, about 700 taking part in' the dancing. The function was one of the most brilliant and successful held hero. The Earl and Countess of Liverpool, the Prime Minister. Mr. Massey, and the Hon. Mr. 801 l were present. At noon to-day 250 men from the warship were entertained at luncheon in the Town Hall.
