ASSASSINATION BY BRIGAND. By Electric Telegraph.—Cooyright. ROME, May 1. It is reported that the Chief Issa, belonging to a baud at Bolotinatz, a notorious brigand, assassinated Niazibeg, a well-known Turkish constitutionalist at Valona. A CHARGE OF MURDER. (Received May 2, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON. May 1. The Coroner returned a verdict of murder against Jeannie Baxter for shooting Bernard Hall. Airs. Baxter is a young widow who lived with Hall and shot him, as she alleged by his request, after ho had made a will in her favour. CORRUPTION IN ITALY. (Received May 2, 11.20 a.m.) ROME, May 1. A Parliamentary inquiry implicates several deputies, cx-depnties, and officials in responsible positions for corruption in connection with the construction of the Palace of Justice.
