I DESIRE to return my sincere thanks to the burgesses of Greater New Plymouth lor the handsome manner in which they expressed , their renewed confidence in me at yesterday’s poll. I hare only to say that efforts on my part won’t be wanting during the coming year, with its heavy responsibilities, to justify that expression of confidence, and that I will continue, as heretofore, to serve burgesses faithfully and to the best of my ability.
