AN UNANSWERED INQUIRY.
When the Christmas dinner was over the family and the guests adjourned to the big sitting-room, where, they were joined by several, of the neighbours. Consequently there was a scarcity of chairs, and a young gentleman friend of, the family, who had taken dinner with them, took Willie up on his lap. Then, during a pause in the conversation, littlq Willie looked up at the young gentleman and piped; “Am I as heavy as sister Mabel?”
