LAND NATIONALISATION.
ITS ADVOCATES IN BRITAIN. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, July 12. A meeting of Liberal and Labour .members of the House of Commons has formed a strong committee to further the acquisition of land by the Central Government and local authorities, based on Government taxation values. It is understood that the intention is to .prepare a memorandum concerning the nationalisation of land for presentation to the Prime Minister and Mr. Lloyd George. Tho committee disclaim any opposition to Mr. Acland’s committee.
