Acting on the strength of a cablegram from Her father, detectives have taken under their charge a young lady who arrived by a recent steamer from New Zealand, with the object of returning her to parental control. The story published is that the lady came to Sydney to meet a young gentleman who arrived by an earlier boat. The Couple intended to proceed to San Francisco and get married.
