At present the Vicar has to bring these from Waitara. The question of procuring a bell for the church was also discussed, and there is no doubt that both of the above needs will bo met before long. Appreciative reference w'as made to the work being done by Mrs. Lepper in the Sunday School, and also by the lay readers and organist. At the close of the business the meeting took a social form, and the following programme was rendered:— Pianoforte duet, the Misses Mheatloy, song, “The River of Years, Mr. Ackland; recitation, Miss Surman; piano solo, Miss Honor; song, Gates of the West” Miss Withers; recitation, Mr. ij Luke; piano solo, Miss Surman; song “The Trumpeter,” Mr. P.
