The Manawabh Motor Cycle Club’s reliability trial was held on Easter Monday from Palmerston to Wellington and back again, with twenty-nine starters. The following are the prizewinners: Private owner’s class (reliability points), Jenkins, Palmerston, 99; Passmore, Palmerston, 98; R. Burns. Potone, 96; C. Pees, Palmerston, 93.' Open Class: Jenkins, petrol 43.01, reliability 99, total 142.01; Passmore, petrol 36.5, reliability 96, total 132.5; R. Brown (Christchurch), petrol 43.3, reliability 85.3, total 128.3. Non-stop certificates were won by Jenkins, Passmore, R. Burns, M. Kingsbeer, A. Thompson, J. Hall, Day and Brown. Jenkins receives the Rudge and Jarvis cups.
