The British Museum has published a Coptic version of the greater part of the Book 'of Douheronomy, the whole of tho story of Jonah, and nearly all tho Acts, from a papyrus found in 1911. This is a copy of a pre-existent document, and not an independent translation. It was probably written before tho end of the third century, r.ud confirms the spread of Christianity in Egypt.
