AUSTRALIAN RACING, By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, April 13. There was fine weather for the concluding day of the Australian Jockey Club’s meeting. The attendance was very large. Trafalgar's victory in the A.J.C. Plate was the signal for a tremendous ovation. Following are the details of the racing: Rous Handicap, 1 mile and 3 furlongs,—Barlow, 8.1, 1; Ocean Blue, »./, 3; N.S.W., 3.0, 3. Ame horses Elarteo. AVoolerina made the running to the turn, but Barlow and Ocean Blue were iirst into the straight, and in a great tmish Barlow non oy a nock, with rN.S.W. six lengths behind, 'lime, 2min 25jseo. Place Handicap, 1J miles.—Gunboat, 8.3, 1; Odist, b.i, Z; True Speck, 7.8, 3. Eleven horses started. rOibi, followed by Odist, conducted tile field for a mile and a quarter, where Odist took command and led a bundled field into the straight. Gunboat shot out opposite the Leger stand, finishing in great form, auu won by four lengths, with a length between second and third. Time, 2miu 3oiscc. Second Steeplechase, about 3 miles. —Confide, 11.10, 1; Xigel, 12.2, 2. Five horses started. Ring icll at the stone wall, Hnutapii (after leading twice round) fell at the log fence, ami Seldom fell at the back, AVon by a neck and a half. Time, 7min 4ssec. A.J.C. Plate, 3 miles.—Trafalgar, 9.5, 1; Aurofortina, 9.0, 2; Cadonia, 9.U, 3. Prizefighter unci Ejeglass also started. Trafalgar was the first to move, followed ny Aurofodina, Prizefighter, Eyeglass and Cadonia, a length separating tnom. The same order was maintained to the turn, where Cadonia was tunning third. Going round the second time Cadonia dropped back last, otherwise the order was unchanged. The pace was a cracker throughout. Trafalgar led into the straight from Aurofodina,and Cadonia, and non comfortably by two lengths. There was a groat Vaco for second place, a neck separating Aurofodina and Cadonia. Prizefighter was last. Time, omiu 291 sec. Second Nursery Handicap, G furlongs.—Beta, 7.7, 1; Aurifer, 8.4, 2; hornier, 7.0, 3. Nine horses started. Aurifer made most of the running and led well into the straight, but in a hot finish was defeated by a neck, Former being beaten By three-quarters of a length. Time, Imin lojsec. Final Handicap, If miles.—ldyia, 6.9, 1; Bright Laddie, 6.0, 2; Crown Thistle, 8.2, 3. Twelve horses started. AVon by half a length, with a similar distance between second and third.
