AN ENCOURAGING GABLE, This morning Mr. H. J. Brown received tire following cable from London: “Coal strike has been settled. (The) public realise great advantage (of) ou for fuel purposes, and a boom in oil shares has commenced. Shares (of) Taranaki (N.Z.) Oil Wells, Limited, are being bid for on London Stock Exchange at a premium of la 3d. Do not promise full allotments, as (we) anticipate that issue will be considerably oversubscribed. At the request of Earl Ranfuriy and other directors Henry is making arrangements to hurry as much as possible dispatch of the drilling machinery and refinery.” *
