Mr. Foster, Minister for Trade, was entertained at a banquet by West Indian delegates. In a speech Mr. Foster said the West Indian treaty was the beginning of a wider system of Imperial preference. Next in order was Australia, and he hoped that the meet few years would hind the sisterhood of the whole Empire. Thou they would all bo ready to march to the Mother Country and secure one bond of commercial union throughout the. Empire.
