ATHLETICS.
THE BAYLY SCHOLARSHIP. The Bayly Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the Taranaki Rugby Union, which is awarded on the aggregate of the Junior National Scholarship and the special athletic competitions, apparently gives Crone, of the Now Plymouth High School, a lead of 18 marks over Campbell, of Stratford. Pending alterations, if any, when the official results come to hand, the New Plymouth High School thus provides the first two Bayly scholars.
