Australasia, played at Edinburgh, the game was drawn, one converted and two unconverted tries being scored by each side. The ground was soft, and there were 'several changes in tho English team since the first- test, and tho men wore drawn from fewer clubs, securing a better combination. The colonials were chiefly on the defensive during tho first half, England showing fine passing and handling. IVagstaif scored a try, which was unconverted. Frawley crossed from a breakaway, and Russell failed to convert, Lomas and Wagstaff added tries, one of which was converted, thd? colonials tackling well. Francis just missed a goal from a free kick. At half-time England was 11 and Australasia 3. The colonials showed groat dash in tho second spell, and constantly attacked. M'Kivat scored, and Francis from an awkward angle missed tho shot .at goal,. Russell then crossed, and * Francis converted. From thence it was a hard game, without further score.
