FIRE IN A CLUB. Per Press Association. NAPIER. Dec. 14. A fire broke out in the upper bar of tlie Napier Working Elen’s Club this afternoon. The stock in ikv bar pud the fittings arid furniture in a room adjoining were dec.! roved and tlie ceiling and walls badly damaged. The lower rooms wore deluged with water, and ihe clan ■ age is i'-liA, which is covered by insurance held by the New Zealand Office. The cause of the tiro is unknown.
