,A MONUAIENT UNVEILED. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (Received Julv 15, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. The first American memorial in England) to William Penn was unveiled to-day in All Hallows Church, Barking; where Penn was baptised. Alany of Penn’s descendants, including Lord Ranfurly, were present. At the dinner which followed, Lord Kitchener, responding to -the toast of the Armies of America, Britain and the overseas Dominions, said that Australia possessed a college, full of cadets, which was based on the principles of West Point, proving the admiration of Britishers for the institxition which provided America with officers, and also showing the energy with which Australia and New Zealand were study, ing military problems.
